Costumer Reviews

This stepper is a fantastic little machine. It was especially simple and easy to assemble - I didn't even look at the directions. The battery for the monitor was included, so I was excellent to go proper out of the box. Included are the stepper, the monitor, 2 "light" resistance bands, two "medium" resistance bands (light and medium are fairly subjective terms), attachable handles, and attachable... um... foot thingies. Furthermore, I was elated to obtain it comes with a workout DVD. I should have missed that on the product description. So, some poor news: it squeaks. I have gone over the length and breadth of it with a can of three-in-1 oil, and it nonetheless squawks intermittently. It is diminished more than a handful of workouts, so I hope it will quit ultimately. In the meantime, I preserve lube-ing it up just before a workout. The resistance bands, though adjustable, are nonetheless a bit too long for my 5'3". I also think they are a little weak, but that could be given that I can't get adequate resistance based on the length. Relating to the monitor: I consider that 1 wants to know issues like heart rate, age, and resting pulse before it's potential to accurately calculate one's expended calories. So whilst the monitor is nifty and a nice guide, I don't trust it. When I tried the DVD, I was dismayed that it really is only a 10 minute workout. I was just receiving into it and it was time for the cool down. However, I identified the instructor only merely annoying and particularly supportive. If you are just beginning out on a fitness plan (and weigh beneath the max. suggested weight of 220 LBS.) this could be amazing for you otherwise, I would watch it as soon as for some standard concepts (like plie, squats and stretches), then go to it with the tunes cranked. I have not but tried the resistance bands workout which follows the ten min. cardio, but I like the bands and use them for crunches, etc. They add more than strength education: they add stability. Keeping the cords taut may assist some folks with balance concerns feel even more secure. I have not had any difficulty with the stepper sliding about, but it's not a poor thought to spot it on a yoga mat, just in case. In retrospect, it may sound like I don't definitely like the machine. I do! This tiny guy slides below the couch or bed, and the bands are very easily detachable for other forms of exercise. I get a wonderful workout when watching a movie or the news. I reside in a little place on a tiny island, where winters are long and bitterly cold. This stepper is a modest and affordable alternative to a giant elliptical trainer, and I wish I had purchased it sooner... mainly considering that it kind of validates all the Television-on-DVD I watch lately. My brain may possibly be rotting, but my bottom is gonna be fabulous! UPDATE: The squeaking has subsided, and I continue to use this machine regularly. I bought a heart rate monitor, and was surprised to see that the calorimeter on the machine was fairly close to the one on my wrist, which is calibrated to my weight, age, etc. One thing I did discover is that I HAVE to add upper arm stuff (weights or the bands) to get my heart rate up into a cardio zone. Bear in mind that you can't adjust the difficulty on the machine, and it gets straightforward just after whilst. It is a good thought then to keep going along with some thing in your hands to honestly get your heart pumping. The bands are amazing now that I've tied some knots in them. I still adore this thing. It was a good acquire.

I have had this stepper for a couple of weeks now and I have been happy with the good quality. It is especially sturdy and properly built. It does tend to squeak when I begin applying it but will quiet down once it is warmed up. I locate the workouts difficult but enjoyable for the reason that I use it in front of the television. I suggest this for anybody wanting a fantastic workout without having any fuss.
